It's rare but sometimes the wives or children of the worker can contract mesothelioma from the asbestos brought home on the clothes of their husband or father. Heard Robins tried a case against ExxonMobil in 2004 for the wife of a man who worked at the Exxon Refinery in Baytown Texas. She was unfortunatly diagnosed with mesothelioma in 2003. She was exposed from washing her husband clothes for some 30 years everyday when he came home from the plant.
